"Knowledge can be communicated, but not wisdom. One can find it, live it, be fortified by it, do wonders through it, but one cannot communicate and teach it."

  1. Can't help it - have to comment on the marathon link. The key to this study is that it found only temporary (3 months - and all damage was reversed at that time - much like any muscle damage) heart damage in those that were *not trained* well enough to even be running in a marathon. The lesson to be learned is that marathon running is a big endeavor to undertake and to prevent heart or any kind of muscle damage, one needs to be completely and appropriately trained to run 26.2 miles. Additionally, persistent running actually helps to prevent long-term heart issues such as heart disease and other heart issues that can befall those that have not taken care of themselves.
